This Just In...

This is Lori, reporting for Jenn and Mark who currently have no internet access.

They made it to Zaporozhia Monday morning and were able to meet with the director there and M and A that day.

For the first couple nights they were able to stay at the orphanage itself and spent time with not only M and A, but the other kids as well.

Now they have moved into a hotel in the city of Zaporizhia itself (the orphanage is about an hour outside of the city and their cell phones do not get service there. However, they do get service in the city, so you should be able to reach them in the evenings if you are planning on calling)

Yesterday was a down-day and they spent time exploring the city.

Today they will go back to visit the kids.

Things seem to be moving quickly down there. Please pray with us that this is true, that all will go smoothly, and they will get the kids soon. Pray also for John and Kevin who are here waiting. We all understand that sometimes waiting is the most difficult part, and these two boys have been waiting so long only to wait some more. They are troopers. I have been trying to stay in contact with them and reassure them that Mom and Dad will be back as soon as they can be, but I ask for your prayer that this is understood and that they do not feel abandoned.

Thank you so much for your support and prayer for the Smith family. They are super heroes for sure.

I will try to update you sporadically on their behalf as things continue to unfold down south until they are able to return themselves.

God is doing amazing things--as always. I am thrilled to watch Him work :o)
